To apply for a tenancy, a holding deposit (one week's rent) must be paid and an application form completed within 48 hours. This deposit secures the property and offsets the total rent due. A tenancy requires the first month's rent and bond to be paid in full. A guarantor may be requested by the landlord. The holding deposit is non-refundable if key facts are omitted or false. If the tenant withdraws or fails to move in, no refund is given. If the landlord cancels the tenancy, all payments will be refunded.
